The venue is Sabanci University's Karakoy Center, at the heart of old Istanbul.


There are many hotels nearby, distributed to famous historical and shopping areas of Istanbul.
Sultanahmet area is the most famous historical region with many hotels. It is only 5-10 minutes with 'tram'.
Taxi would also be cheap. The Richmond Hotel is up the hill at Beyoglu area, and linked to Karakoy with the 'tunel', a historic carrier.



Above, you can see the satellite image of the area. The red circle shows the conference venue. If you come via 'TUNEL' from Richmond, turn left towards the Galata Bridge and follow the path shown above. If you are coming with the TRAM from Sultanahmet, the venue is right in front of you when you get off at Karakoy station. There will be a security officer at the gate, mention ASTRONS. When you register on the first day of the workshop you will be given a badge.
